Date caramel definitely comes in handy. I like to replace unhealthier versions of caramel in desserts for this one. It works really well in caramel slice (will post the recipe for that one tomorrow!). One of the first times I ever made a batch was for chocolate covered caramel balls. All you do is pop the mixture into the freezer until it’s firm enough to roll into balls, then coat them in the chocolate of your choice, then freeze until set!
Oooh and adding a tsp into my morning coffee when I feel like a little sweetener goes perfectly ☺️
*I’m sure other nut or seed butters would work here, although the taste would alter.
